The 9-12 and 13+ groups are planning to create some public service films to show on Cheverly Cable TV that would focus on informing kids and parents of safety issues (crossing streets safely, as an example); ways to serve people in the community (such as working at local homeless shelters, cleaning up the Anacostia River, etc.) and happenings around town such as Cheverly Day activities, etc. Rick Marchesano, a Cheverly resident who directs and produces commercials and videos professionally, has volunteered to help us train the kids to act in and produce the films and will share his equipment with us.
