Cloth of Many Colors
August 14th, August 21st and September 12th 2005

Many Cheverly Kids Care Club kids worked together to create 40 squares that were later pieced together by the older kids into two peace quilts that became part of the Children's Cloth of Many Colors that was displayed in front of the Capitol Building on September 12th.

Jennifer Donatelli from the N.C. Gazette came to the square-making event and wrote about the read-a-thon and the peace quilt project. Children Help Peers and Promote Peace
